The long-anticipated reopening of the Valley Inn at Honeoye Lake took place on Monday, November 21, marked by a quiet soft opening. Located at the corner of County Road 37 and Main Street in Honeoye, the historic restaurant has undergone a complete transformation, with extensive renovations completed both inside and out.
Despite the opening being announced only a day or two in advance on a local Facebook page, the community responded immediately. The restaurant was busy throughout its first day, signaling strong local interest and enthusiasm.
The menu offers a mix of casual pub fare and full-service dining. Guests can choose from a wide selection of wings, fried foods, and sandwiches, as well as more traditional dinner offerings. German-inspired specialties such as sauerbraten and schnitzel are featured alongside familiar favorites, including chicken parmesan, chicken French, pot roast, pasta dishes, prime rib, and a variety of steaks.
The reopening comes at an important time for the Honeoye dining scene. With the recent closures of Mill Creek and Cornerstone, the Valley Inn fills a noticeable gap in local restaurant options. After spending the entire summer under construction, its return has generated excitement among residents eager to see a longtime establishment come back to life.
