Wyoming County Man Arrested With 10+ lbs. of cannabis and 44K in cash

Akid F. Hamood, 31, was arrested on Rt. 20A in the Town of Perry on March 20, for multiple driving violations.

During the stop, Hamood was found to be in possession of 10.6 lbs. of packaged cannabis and $44,770 in cash,

 

In addition to traffic violations of failure to keep right and speeding, he was charged with criminal possession of cannabis, and money laundering.

Hamood was arraigned in the Town of Perry Court, where he was released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Perry Court at a later date.
