GENESEO – Handmade crafts from 38 countries will be made available for sale at the 13th open-air market in Geneseo by Ten Thousand Villages, a nonprofit fair trade organization based in Akron, PA.
According to a press release from the Central Presbyerian Church on Center Street in Geneseo, the bazaar will run from Friday, Nov. 20 to Sunday, Nov. 22, and feature handmade gifts, home decor, musical instruments, jewelry and personal accessories at the World Craft Bazaar at the church.
This sale is intended to help skilled artisans in some 38 countries receive a fair price for their products.
Crafts will include hand-loomed textiles, pottery, jewelry, baskets, toys and a variety of nativities.
The sale is made possible by a partnership between the church and Ten Thousand Villages.
Central Presbyterian Church in Geneseo has hosted the sale semi-annually for the last 12 years, showcasing handcrafted items marketed by Ten Thousand Villages.
