LIVONIA – Livonia’s Women’s Varsity soccer defeated Rush Henrietta 4-1 last night on their home turf.
Scoring was led by Ali Minnehan and Olivia Cronmiller in the first period. Giving up just one goal overall, Keeper Lindsay Schubert totaled 9 saves. The second period secured Livonia’s victory, as Ali Minnehan and Olivia Cronmiller contributed the final two points.
“To play a school as talented and strong as Rush Henrietta,” said Coach Mark Stephens in a press release, “and come away with a win was huge.”
The Lady Bulldogs play Batavia September 6 at 2p.m. on the Livonia home field.
