The National Weather Service has issued a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY from 7 pm this evening until 10 am Thursday for Livingston, Ontario, Wyoming and Allegany Counties.
Mixed precipitation is expected. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches and ice accumulations of around one tenth of an inch.
Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.
They are calling for periods of snow, sleet or freezing rain which could result in slippery roads and limited visibility. Slow down and use caution while driving.
The second winter storm in as many weeks is expected to hit our area tonight and into tomorrow. Make sure you give yourself extra time tomorrow morning to brush off your car, shovel if needed and drive to work. The Department of Transportation and local municipalities have asked the motoring public to be aware of plows and salt trucks out ahead of this storm.
