GENESEO — The Livingston County Historical Society (LCHS) will be hosting an upcoming production of the original musical “Wicket Ways” at the Riviera Theater.
Three screenings of the historical musical will be offered: Sept. 30 at 8 p.m., Oct. 1 at 8 p.m. and Oct. 2 at 3 p.m. The show includes eight original songs written by Conesus’ own Ruth Henry.
“The story involves 14 Livingston County and Genesee Valley historical figures such as Clara Barton, William Prior Letchworth, Helen Douglas, Craig Wadsworth, Susan B. Anthony and George Eastman, who are invited to the Glen Iris Inn to play a croquet match in 1895,” said Anna Kowalchuk, LCHS Museum Administrator.
Described as a ‘An Historical Musical Genesee Valley Croquet Romp set in 1895,’ Wicket Ways will function both as a show for all and a fundraiser for the LCHS.
Tickets are $20 presale for adults and $25 at the door. Children ages 3 to 15 are $12 presale and $15 at the door.
