AVON — Join the Livingston County Habitat for Humanity Sept. 29 at 10 a.m. for its 13th annual Walk-a-Thon fundraiser.
The scenic three-mile walk through the village of Avon is the organization’s primary fundraising event of the year. The first 100 participants in the walk will receive a free T-shirt as a thank you.
The moderate walk begins and ends at the pavilion behind St. Agnes Church. Participants will walk by the Habitat for Humanity house being built in Avon. All contributions from walkers, pledges, and corporate sponsors go toward funding the next habitat home in Livingston County.
