LIVINGSTON COUNTY — Three contested races are up for grabs today in Livingston County as Mount Morris, Dansville and Nunda each have contested Trustee races.
In the Village of Mount Morris, three candidates are gunning for two positions. The Democrats send seasoned politicians Harold Long, who was the former mayor and Patsy Zingaro, who unsuccessfully ran for office two previous times. The Republicans send Guy Brickwood, an incumbent who served a half-term last year and first time candidate Aaron Galvin.
In Dansville, three candidates seek out two positions. The Republicans are running with Dan Rittenhouse and Richard Fox on the ballot and the Democrat party candidate is Robin Humphrey.
The last contested trustee race is in Nunda, where Gary Galton is running as a Democrat and Jack Morgan as Republican.
