GENESEO – A sedan driven by a lone occupant left the road and rolled over on Avon Geneseo Road Monday morning.
At about 10:45 a.m., the vehicle strayed from the roadway and struck a culvert reinforced with large stones, rolling over and throwing stones into traffic.
Fortunately, the female driver did not appear to have any apparent injuries, but was transported to Strong Memorial hospital by a Livingston County Ambulance as a precaution.
The driver did not have to be extricated from the vehicle as she was able to climb out of the car on her own.
No other vehicles were damaged in the accident.
Firefighters with Geneseo Fire and Ambulance responded to the scene alongside a Livingston County Ambulance and Livingston County Sheriff’s Deputies.
