CONESUS – Both drivers in Monday’s head-on accident on Stagecoach Road near Camel road are still hospitalized and in serious condition with numerous severe injuries.

According to a press release from Livingston County Sheriff Thomas Dougherty, Leah Otoole, 39, of Dansville, was the operator and sole occupant of the Honda Accord that remained in the road, and Heaven Klein, 20, of Dansville, was the operator and sole occupant in the SUV that overturned roadside.
Conesus and Livonia Fire Department used the jaws of life to extract Otoole from her vehicle.
Klein was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital by Livonia Ambulance with serious head injuries and possibly numerous broken bones. Otoole was transported to Strong by Livonia’s second ambulance with severe injuries to both legs and broken bones.
The Sheriff added that investigation into the cause of the accident is still ongoing, but snow-covered roads played a factor.
Investigating the accident for the Sheriff’s Office were Captain Zeh, Captain Applin, Sgt. Orman and Deputies Williams, Holt and Moran.
Also assisting at the scene were Livingston County ALS, the Conesus Fire Department and Livonia Fire and Ambulance.
