GENESEO – Two small boys were taken to the hospital late Thursday afternoon after a fender bender involving an SUV and two other cars.
According to first responders on scene, a Hyundai Santa Fe collided with a Subaru Outback stopped in traffic at the intersection of Lakeville Road (20A) and Center Street at about 4:30 p.m., and the Outback collided with the rear of a Pontiac Grand Prix.
The two young boys were in car seats in the Subaru and were both transported from the scene wearing pediatric neck braces in Geneseo ambulances.
The scene was within sight of the Geneseo Fire and Ambulance Fire Hall on Center Street, and firefighters were able to quickly respond to the scene on foot.
No other injuries were reported in connection to the accident.
Firefighters and ambulance crews with Geneseo Fire and Ambulance responded to the scene alongside Geneseo Police and Livingston County EMS personnel.
