CALEDONIA — According to a Press Release from Daniel Chapman, Caledonia Police Chief, a major marijuana bust was made in a dual effort between the Caledonia Police Department and the Livingston County Drug Task Force.
According to the press release, 500 grams of marijuana or slightly over 1 pound, was allegedly sold by Bryan Swartz to an undercover agent.
The release states that seven officers from the Caledonia Police Department and six members of the Livingston County Drug Task Force made the arrest Friday afternoon. Allegedly Swartz sold the marijuana for $2,480 in the Village and after agencies executed a search warrant for the Lehigh Street home they discovered $8440 cash and an additional pound and a half of marijuana and related packaging material.
Swartz was arraigned in Caledonia Village Court and bail was set at $20,000 cash $40,000 bond. He was then remanded to the Livingston County Jail.
