AVON – A dump truck caught fire Wednesday afternoon outside of Fastenal on Rte. 15 (Lakeville Road).
According to eyewitnesses, the smoke was visible from I-390 nearby as the fire started just before 3:30 p.m.
Firefighters with the East Avon Fire Department responded to the scene alongside multiple assisting departments.
There are no reported injuries.
Investigators are now trying to determine the cause of the fire.
Fastenal sells a wide variety of fasteners and hardware equipment, from nuts and bolts to electrical wire connectors to hangers and latches.
