LIMA — A Rochester man was arrested for allegedly forging payroll checks from a to the tune of over $10,000.
According to a press release from the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigations, Curtis M. Welch, 28, of Rochester NY, for Grand Larceny 3rd Degree and Falsifying Business Records 1st Degree on September 12th, 2018.
Welch, while employed at Superior Walls of Upstate New York Incorporated in Lima, NY altered payroll records and embezzled over $10,000.00 from December 2017 until July 2018.
The company specializes in precast concrete walls.
Welch was remanded to the Livingston County Jail to await Livingston County Centralized Arraignment.
