On April 22 at approximately 10:00 p.m., the New York State Police in Canandaigua arrested 19 year old Christopher Koons-Ford of Rochester and 24 year old Devon Madison of Henrietta for Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd degree resulting from a traffic stop on Rte. 332 in the town of Farmington.

Troopers stopped the vehicle for an inadequate headlight and loud muffler and detected the odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle resulted in a loaded Jennings .22 pistol and 3 rounds found underneath the front passenger seat. Neither suspect possessed a pistol permit and both denied possession of the hand gun. Both suspects were arrested and taken to the Ontario County Jail pending morning arraignment. An inquiry of the hand gun serial number found no documentation of being registered; investigation is on-going.
