Transportation museum offers holiday experience

RUSH — Visitors to the New York Museum of Transportation will be treated to an authentic, two-mile trolley car ride on the only trolley railroad in New York State from November 24^th through December 16^th.

The trolley-ride, which is available with admission to the museum, will operate Saturdays and Sundays, running trips every half-hour from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The trolley will stop at Remelt’s Evergreen Acres, where passengers will have the opportunity to shop for Christmas trees and decorations.

In addition, the museum offers an array of memorabilia, model railroad exhibits and historical transportation artifacts.

Admission to the museum, located at 6393 East River Road, is $5 for adults and $4 for visitors under 12.
