GROVELAND – The New York State Police arrested a Canadian tractor trailer driver for DWI after allegedly watching his truck swerve out of his lane on 390.
According to a press release from Major Rick Allen, Troop E Commander, Viktor Zdorovtsev, 65, was arrested for misdemeanor Driving While Intoxicated in a Commercial Vehicle and traffic violations including Moving from Lane Unsafely and Driving on the Shoulder.

On May 30, at around 11:29 p.m., State Police based in Geneseo allegedly observed a tractor trailer failing to maintain its lane on northbound I-390, town of Groveland.
A Trooper stopped the truck for erratic operation and the driver was identified as Zdorovtsev, of Richmond, British Columbia. An investigation alleges that Zdorovtsev was intoxicated.
Troopers took him into custody and administered a breath test with an alleged result of .20 BAC.
Zdorovtsev was arraigned before the Groveland Town Court, where a justice ordered him held at the Livingston County Jail on $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.
