LIVONIA – A tractor fell down an embankment after a collision with a car at the intersection of South Livonia Road and Cleary Road on Friday.
According to first responders, at 1:15 p.m. the Livonia Fire Department responded to a report of an accident involving a farm tractor and a car. Firefighters arrived to find the car in the road and the tractor overturned off the road, with the operator still inside.

The operator of the tractor was able to escape and was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
The roadway was opened back up at about 2:56 p.m. after two heavy wreckers dragged the tractor back up the embankment.
Firefighters with the Livonia Fire Department responded to the scene alongside Livingston County ALS. The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office investigated.
The Livonia Fire Department specifically thanked Carpenters Towing for their help in removing the tractor.
“Thank you to Carpenters Towing out of Dansville for the quick response and removal of the tractor to get the roadway back open in a reasonable about of time,” posted the Livonia Fire Department.
