Town of Geneseo Adopts New State Sexual Harassment Policy

GENESEO – New state sexual harassment protocol approved at Town Board meeting.

On Oct 25., the Geneseo Town Board adopted a new sexual harassment policy originally proposed by the State of New York.

“It’s not all that different from the policy we were operating under previously,” a member of the board stated. “It does include a complaint form, which we didn’t have before.”

The state gave workplaces two weeks to sign in compliance with the new policy, which works to make it easier for employees to report alleged incidents of sexual harassment.
