DANSVILLE — A high speed chase that included a suspect dumping his vehicle and temporarily outrunning the police has resulted in an arrest.
Thomoas Davis, 32, from Wellsville, led authorities on a high speed chase on Oct 8th that at points incuded speeds in excess of 90 mph. As the chase neared the Village of Dansville, Sheriff Deputies backed off for citizen safety.
Davis was apprehended by authorities nearly a week later.
He was charged with: DWI, felony aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, unlawful fleeing of a Police Officer, unlawful possession of marihuana, reckless driving, failure to keep right, failure to comply, speeding, and failure to stop for a stop sign.
Davis is currently being held in Livingston County Jail on no bail.
