The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office Issues Notification Of Exercises In Conesus Today

The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office put out a notification that there will be a detail ongoing today.

The SWAT team will be in the area of 5600 Mission Rd, Conesus with uniformed personnel, the armored vehicle and other agency vehicles used to conduct exercises that are associated with the team. There is no reason to be alarmed if you happen to hear loud bangs coming from that area. They are not going to be using live ammunition. The detail should be completed by approximately 4:30pm.

If you received an automatic phone call and it was garbled, they are currently experiencing technical issues with the automated telephone message being sent to those in that area. There is no need to call the Sheriff’s Office.
