LIVINGSTON COUNTY — Geneseo School Board Member Michael Tenalio announced his candidacy for the 133rd New York State Assembly District.
According to a press release from Tenalio he is seeking the Republican and conservative Party lines for the November election, Joe Errigo is currently the elected representative.
“After initial exploratory meetings and growing support, I am announcing my desire to seek the Republican & Conservative designation for the NYS 133rd Assembly District inclusive of Livingston County and portions of Monroe and Steuben Counties,” stated Tenalio who previously served as as Town Councilman of Geneseo and Mayor/Deputy Mayor of the Village of Livonia. “With the combined elected offices and executive professional business experience, I will bring my energy, education, experience, and enthusiasm to Albany to represent our region with a vocal and informed voice. Family, Education and Employment are the pillars of a vital community and my successful track record in all related areas will position me for the challenges of Albany.”
The fall primary will take place on September 13th.
