GENESEO — Senior outfielder Jimmy Root went 1-4 with a two RBI triple in the fourth inning to lead Geneseo to a 13-1 victory over York in the first round of sectional playoffs on Wednesday night. RETSOF — The Blue Devils scored three first-inning runs en route to a 5-0 win over the York Knights on Monday, improving to 15-1 on the year.
