Over 870 SUNY Geneseo Students Vote So Far at On-Campus Polling Place
GENESEO – The night is still young, and over 870 SUNY Geneseo students have voted at the temporary on-campus polling place. Poll workers said at 6 p.m. that 870 students had already voted, with more coming in the door as they spoke. They estimated that this means a 60 to 70 percent voter turnout for the campus. GENESEO – The polls have only been open for a few hours, but SUNY Geneseo students are already showing in numbers to vote in the presidential primary election. GENESEO – SUNY Geneseo students are voting in record numbers by absentee ballot for the Geneseo Village election on March 15, in which two students are running for Trustee. According to the Livingston County Board of Elections, of the 718 absentee ballots sent out for the Geneseo election, 470 have been returned from college addresses.
