Avon Soccer’s Euchre Tournament to Also Benefit Girl with Leukemia
AVON – The Avon soccer team's euchre tournament will give some of its earnings to a little Henrietta girl fighting Leukemia. The tournament scheduled for Oct. 1 will give 25 percent of its earnings to Emilia Lindsay, 2, who is fighting B Cell Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. BROCKPORT – The Livonia Bulldogs Girls Varsity Basketball team began their season at the Brockport Tournament Friday evening with a close win over Webster Thomas.
