YORK The rain pushed York/Leicester Field Days' fireworks to Sunday. The weather looked like it would hold out, but a second shower Saturday afternoon forced organizers to make the call. NYS Allows Earlier Alcohol Sales on Sundays
NYLON – New York State has passed legislation allowing restaurants and bars to sell alcohol earlier on Sundays and lifting fees for alcohol production companies. SUNY Geneseo Alum Tim Chichester Places 34th at Chicago Marathon
CHICAGO — SUNY Geneseo alumni Tim Chichester ran the 2014 Bank of America Chicago Marathon this morning. Chichester, a native of Mount Morris, finished the race in a time of 2:21:03, earning him 34th place overall. The race was won by Eliud Kipchoge of Kenya, in a time of 2:04:11.
