HOUGHTON COLLEGE - In the Class D New York State Qualifier game the Mount Morris Blue Devils defeated Belfast Bulldogs 2-0. It was two first half goals by Colin Brickwood and Mike Edwards that propelled the Blue Devils to victory. HONEOYE FALLS - In football Caledonia-Mumford/Byron Bergen (CM-BB) defeated the LeRoy Oatkan Knights 16-7 to advance to the Section V Class C title game. MOUNT MORRIS — In boys soccer the Mount Morris Blue Devils hoisted the coveted block of wood after defeating Jasper-Troupsberg 2-0 in the Section V Class D1 title game Michael Edwards and Collin Young (Colin Brickwood) scored the goals for the Blue Devils as they peppered the net with 20 shots throughout the match. LIVINGSTON COUNTY — The Livonia Bulldogs defeated the Hornell Raiders 1-0 in Class B, Section V, semi-final action. The other LCAA teams of Avon, Geneseo, and Caledonia-Mumford all lost their matches.
