MOUNT MORRIS – Employees at American Rock Salt dug deep on Friday, shaving their beards and donating to a charity movement to fight juvenile diabetes that started in the head of mine machine operator Eric Cox and has planted its roots deep in Livingston County. Salt Mine Safely Evacuated after Underground Fire
MOUNT MORRIS – A salt loader in the American Rock Salt mine caught fire Wednesday afternoon, sending about 50 workers promptly out of the mine and to safety.
