Alert Issued on Medicare Card Phone Scam
LIVINGSTON COUNTY — An anti-fraud alliance is issuing this advice — just hang up. The scam targets seniors receiving cold calls from scammers trying to steal their identities by exploiting new Medicare cards. GENESEO – Complaints of money wiring in Geneseo increased over the past week. Geneseo Police Chief Eric Osganian said that scam complaints started to spring up over the past week.
