GENESEO – As contaminated soil removal continues as part of Geneseo's Main Street project, another gas tank has been discovered at the site of an old Ford dealership on Main Street, bringing the total to five so far. First of Contaminated Fuel Tanks Unearthed on Main Street Geneseo
GENESEO – The first of multiple fuel tanks holding petroleum contaminants was removed from under Main Street Monday Morning. According to Sam Nardozzi with Nardozzi Paving, this tank can hold up to 2,000 gallons of fluid, but was only filled approximately half way. Emergency Repairs by Big Dig Crew Shuts Down County Building’s Water
GENESEO – An accidental breaking of a water service line to an unoccupied home on Court Street during part of the Main Street water pipe replacement project caused water service to the Livingston County Building and County Jail to be shut off for about an hour and 40 minutes Monday afternoon. Geneseo Big Dig Takes First Bite of Main Street
GENESEO – The water main restoration project took its first bite of Main Street asphalt on Tuesday, and two long, narrow trenches could be seen extending from the bear fountain at Center Street to the Big Tree Inn at 46 Main Street Tuesday evening.
