AVON – Investigators believe that the fire that destroyed a garage on Clinton Street started when the homeowner was using a chop saw. AVON – Firefighters beat back roaring flames that threatened two homes and sent Avon Central School into lockdown Monday afternoon. CASTILE – A violent fire destroyed a detached garage and multiple vehicles at the corner of Washington and Jefferson Roads during Sunday night's blizzard conditions.
