Dryer Caused Highlands Apartment Fire in Geneseo
GENESEO – Investigators determined that the cause of Saturday's fire at the Highlands Apartments on Meadow Drive was an overheated dryer. According to a press release from Geneseo Fire and Ambulance Chief Andrew Chanler, the Livingston County Office of Emergency Management determined the cause of the fire. Dansville Firefighters Save House from Dryer Fire
DANSVILLE – Dansville firefighters put out a fire that could have seriously damaged a home on Rte. 436 (Nunda-Dansville Road) on Tuesday. First responders on scene said that a clothes dryer caught fire, creating smoke and threatening to spread to the rest of the house.
