Fire Destroys Home in Frigid Cold
LIVONIA – A fire destroyed a home on Commercial Street Saturday evening, and covered part of the village in thick gray smoke. Fortunately, no one was injured in the blaze, but the house is a total loss, with flames at times visible both up and downstairs, near the roof, and on the porch, which still had Christmas lights and icicles hanging from it. Big-Hearted Ambulance Crew Shovels Man’s Driveway
LIVONIA – A man received more than a little help on Thursday morning at the hands of a generous, hard-working Livonia ambulance crew after falling and getting stuck in his snowed-in driveway in the freezing cold.
