GENESEO — The Geneseo Blue Devils took down the Avon Braves in girls vollleyball in 3 straight sets and are now 2-0. The LCAA Division II match-up between the two powerhouses was an early season test for both teams that hope to make a run in the playoffs. GENESEO – The Geneseo Blue Devils defeated the Pavilion Golden Gophers at home Wednesday evening. The Blue Devils emerged victorious with a 25-19, 25-17, 25-19 victory over the Golden Gophers. Senior Sam Hammond put up 11 kills and 4 aces while freshman Stefanie Ledwith added 24 assists. Senior Rachel Nicholls also contributed 12 digs and 6 aces.
