MOUNT MORRIS – The Village is selling a plot of surplus land on Fairmont Street that abuts the buyer's current property on Damonsville Street. The land, which Mayor Frank Provo described as the site of a former pump station that includes a sand pit, is to be sold to Charles DiPasquale for $7,025. State Legislature Pushes for Rifles in Livingston County
LIVINGSTON COUNTY- Both the State Assembly and the State Senate have passed a bill that would legalize rifles for deer hunting in Livingston County. If signed by the Governor, the law wold take effect immediately, likely in time for the fall hunting season. The bill was requested by the County Board of Supervisors in May.
