Replacement of Rte. 63 Bridge will Detour Traffic in Heart of Livingston County
LIVINGSTON COUNTY – The removal and reconstruction of the bridge that spans the Genesee River between Geneseo and York will cause significant detours for traffic moving through Rte. 63. Full Steam Ahead, Letchworth’s Railroad Bridge Breaks Ground Wednesday
CASTILE – Construction of the $70 million railroad bridge that will eventually span the gorge above the upper falls is set to break ground Wednesday and carry on through the next 3 years. Avon on Track to Rebuild 128-Year-Old LA+L Railroad Bridge
AVON – The Village and engineers with the Livonia Avon and Lakeville Railroad (LA+L) are laying plans to completely replace the ancient wrought-iron railroad bridge that currently spans Spring Street.
