Bear Fountain Granite Not being Taken for Granted

GENESEO— The granite fountain base that was sent to Vermont has returned to Geneseo in the form of paperweights, benches and award plaques. The first of the approximately 1,000 paperweights will be auctioned off at the annual APOG beer and wine tasting on June 8. Geneseo Teddy Bear Parade Officially Welcomes New Bear Fountain

GENESEO – Kids, grownups and teddy bears filled Main Street Saturday morning for the first annual Teddy Bear Parade since the bear fountain's return. GENESEO – Saturday's Teddy Bear Parade will take a second to commemorate the return of the bronze bear Emmeline and the bear fountain. First Driver to Hit New Bear Fountain is from Rochester

GENESEO – It turns out that the driver who made a big splash Wednesday morning when he hit the bear fountain is from Rochester. The GeneseeSun.com is withholding the driver's name because this was such a minor incident, but police reports say that he is 36 years old from Rochester.
