Avon Truck Crash Critically Injures Driver
UPDATE: State Police now say that the injured driver is age 75, not age 41. AVON – A car collided with a box truck on Rte. 15 (Lakeville Road) on Wednesday. According to first responders on scene, the driver of the sedan, a 75-year-old female, sustained critical injuries when the vehicles collided at about 3 p.m. Two passengers in the box truck were not injured. Car Cuts Off Pickup on Rte. 15 in Avon
AVON – A pickup truck struck a car and ran off of Rte. 15 at 390 Exit 9 Wednesday afternoon. According to first responders on scene, the white sedan pulled onto Rte. 15 from the Exit 9 off ramp, into the path of an oncoming pickup truck at about 2 p.m. The pickup then ran off the road, striking a road sign signaling the 390 north and south entrance ramps.
