GENESEO – A young woman was arrested on Grand Larceny charges on Monday for the apparent theft of jewelry from a family member’s house.
According to a press release from Livingston County Sheriff Thomas Dougherty, an investigation led by Deputy Robert Holt resulted in the arrest of 24 year old Maggie Kesel for allegedly stealing from a family member’s residence.
The Sheriff’s Office has recovered some of that stolen jewelry in the City of Rochester.
Kesel was charged with Grand Larceny in the 4th degree and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 4th degree. Kesel was arraigned in the Town of Groveland Court and remanded to the custody of the Sheriff.
She is being held in the Livingston County Jail in lieu of $1,500 cash bail or $3,000 bond.
