GENESEO – A SUNY Geneseo associate director of facilities services and his daughter broke the record winnings on Monday night’s episode of NBC’s ‘The Wall.’

According to NBC’s website, Kirk and Brooke Spangler won $1,415,098 as a team.
“The father-daughter relationship that me and my dad and my sister have, you can’t beat it because he knows more than anybody, he knows the ins and outs of me,” said Brooke in the episode, available online here. “He knows our boyfriends, he knows our past boyfriends, he knows what’s going on.”
The episode said that ‘for the past 25 years, Kirk has worked tirelessly to take care of the State University of New York at Geneseo’ and ‘to help make ends meet, on the side he’s also been a year-round high school referee for 38 seasons.’
“I just wanted them to have a better life than I had,” said Kirk in the episode. “I couldn’t be a prouder dad. Just couldn’t be.”
The family is in it together, as always.
“My dream has always been to give back to my father,” said Brooke in the episode. “Once I’ve finished school and I have my own income, I want to give him what he’s always given us.”
