ROCHESTER/PHILADELPHIA – The SUNY Geneseo Track and Field team competed near and far this past weekend, sending a crew to both St. John Fisher, and The Penn Relays. The team put in their final performances before the SUNYAC conference meet next weekend.

ST. JOHN FISHER
Alex Hall took second place in the Men’s 3000 meter Steeplechase. Matt Jorgensen and Luke Holtzman took second and third respectively in the Men’s 5000 meter run.
For the Women, Erin MacDougall won the 100 meter hurdles. Junior Laura Bamford won the women’s 400 meter hurdles, in a time of 1:02.58. Kelly Flanagan, Brooke Madry, and Lillian Meany also took spots 2,3, and 4 respectively in the Women’s 5000 meter run.

PENN RELAYS
Alexa Wandy and Camille Wutz competed in the Women’s Long Jump, placing 4th and 13th respectively. Wandy also competed in the Women’s Triple Jump, placing 9th.
Issac Garcia-Cassani ran in the Men’s Olympic Development Mile, a race featuring Professional runners. He took fourth in the race, running a time of 4:02.91.
Alex Burks ran the Men’s 10,000 meter run, placing 14th.
