GENESEO – SUNY Geneseo has invited all five candidates who are running for two open seats on the Village Board of Trustees to multiple political events, including a question and answer forum on campus.
According to SUNY Geneseo, Dr. Thomas Matthews, Associate Dean of Leadership and Service, will be hosting the ‘Q and A’ on Feb. 24 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Newton Hall, Room 202, in anticipation of the March 15 election.

He will also host a ‘meet and greet’ on March 9 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the MacVittie College Union Lobby.
The candidates are Geneseo resident Leslie Carson (R), Rochester resident and SUNY Geneseo student Matthew Cook (I), former Chair of the Livingston County Democratic Committee Phil Jones (D), Geneseo resident and SUNY Geneseo college student Mary Rutigliano (I), and incumbent Trustee Bob Wilcox (D).
