GENESEO – Saturday’s 12th annual Relay for Life raised over $160,000 for the American Cancer Society (ACS).

In aiding the ACS, the student-run event helped not only to raise money for cancer research, but also to sustain services for cancer patients. This year, the event raised $160,173.
The Geneseo event is among the top 25 Relay for Life events nationally and has won several national Relay for Life Awards.
College President Denise Battles addressed the crowd before speeches, performances and dances.
Last year’s event was a record breaker, raising an incredible $173,282.51.
