GENESEO — Dr. Lynette Bosch, a professor and Chair of the Art History Department, will host a program titled ‘Emmeline: The Global Bear’ on the campus of SUNY Geneseo.

Dr. Bosch will discuss the iconic bear statue’s tragic fall from her perch on Main Street around one year ago and the widespread attention it has received, as well as the presence of bear statues in public spaces globally.
The talk is co-sponsored by the Association for the Preservation of Geneseo and SUNY Geneseo’s Art History Department. It is set to take place Apr. 21 at 7 P.M. in the Lederer Gallery in Brodie Hall on campus.
