GENESEO — The SUNY Geneseo Track and Field team has been putting up some big marks lately. Notice has been taken, as the Women’s team has moved up in the National Rankings to 8th place.
The rankings are based on team scoring, but once the National Championships roll around, individual performances are what count.
The Knights race many times during the season, but need to stay focused on the process.
When asked if the athletes aim straight for Nationals, or focus on individual meets, Assistant Coach Dan Moore says they focus on “one meet at a time”.
While the Women’s team holds 8th place right now, Moore said they could potentially move up further prior to the National meet.

The Knights will next compete at SUNY Brockport this Saturday, February 18th in their preparation for SUNYACS.
