BROCKPORT — SUNY Geneseo’s Men’s Ice Hockey took home the win against SUNY Brockport last night in a 5-3 victory.

This game brings the Knights to a 3-2-0 record thus far, with the Brockport Golden Eagles 3-2-0 themselves.
The match was well played, and the first period saw a great deal of action. Tyler Brickler scored for Geneseo at the 6:39 mark, with team mate Nate Brown scoring again less than 30 seconds later. The first period was rounded out by Chris Luker of Brockport sneaking in a goal. The Knights headed into the second period 2-1.
The second period came close to evening things up, as Brockport began with a goal at 6:18 by Troy Polino. The Knights broke the tie nearing the end of the period, with a score by Ryan Stanimir at 11:21. The Knights led 3-2 heading into the third period.
The final period began with the Knights scoring at 6:53, courtesy of Jack Caradonna. Brockport matched the call at 13:14 with Chase Nieuwendyk making a goal. The Knights cemented their victory at the 19:55 mark, with a goal by Jack Ceglarski.
The Knights will play again Saturday, November 15 at their home rink against Franklin Pierce. The match will begin at 3 p.m.
