GENESEO — It’s that time of year again, and SUNY Geneseo has reopened its doors to aspiring students and professionals for the 2013-2014 academic year.
The Village of Geneseo has been quiet for the summer months but as school starts up for the new year, Geneseo will play host to many students from all over.
“I am very excited to be moving my daughter into her dorm,” said Jim Sabers, father of Jenna Sabers, freshman at SUNY Geneseo.
Sabers along with his wife, and son happily moved their
daughter into her new dorm located on the third floor of Jones building.
“I have been waiting a long time for this day,”said Sabers. “It is not a problem at all for me that she’s leaving.”
The Sabers family traveled all the way from Chile Friday morning and were glad to report that SUNY Geneseo had everything organized and things were moving along quite well.
“I have traveled to Geneseo before and I just fell in love with this cute little town,” said Jenna Sabers. “I am excited and a little nervous about living on my own and growing up.”
