The teams turned in another set of great performances, with the women winning and the men placing third.
“I am very pleased with both teams’ performances,” said Head Coach Dan Moore. “They came off two very big training weeks, along with the academic rigor really picking up in the classrooms. They appear to be adjusting to the college setting again, and are in a great place with their fitness.”
The Women’s team won over a stellar field, with Carissa DiTullio winning the 5,000 meter race overall. She was followed by Marisa Gingello, Emily Pomainville, Kylee O’Hara, and Missy Graham. The women placed 4, 5, 6, and 9 respectively.
The Men were led by Sean Welch, who placed third over the 8,000 meter course. The top five was filled by Alex Hall, Stephen Loce, Kevin Seitz, and Patrick Engel, who took places 18, 19, 21, and 28 respectively.
