BROCKPORT – The SUNY Geneseo Men’s, and Women’s Cross Country teams opened their seasons up with wins at the Brockport Early Season Short Course.

The Women’s team won with just 19 points, while the Men won with 28.
“The team is in a really great spot right now.” said Head Coach Dan Moore. “The race showcased the that the team did their summer training. Bigger and better things are in store for sure!”
The Knights dominated on the Women’s side, taking the top three spots. Chloe Weaver, Annibel Coolican, and Carissa DiTullio, took places 1, 2, and 3 respectively. The top five was rounded out by Eileen Reinhardt, and Dana Cebulski, taking the fourth and fifth places.
The Men also had an awesome showing, With Lucas Sutton, Brendan Murphy, Matthew Sayre, Jake Miller, and Matthew Blauvelt taking places 2,3,6,8, and 9 respectively.
The Knights will race again Saturday, September 16 at the Oswego Invitational.
