CHICAGO — SUNY Geneseo alumni Tim Chichester ran the 2014 Bank of America Chicago Marathon this morning.
Chichester, a native of Mount Morris, finished the race in a time of 2:21:03, earning him 34th place overall.
The race was won by Eliud Kipchoge of Kenya, in a time of 2:04:11.
Chichester is a highly decorated runner, with numerous accolades. He ran the Boston Marathon in 2012, finishing 11th overall, and placed second American across the line. He also held the course record for the Geneseo Oak Tree Half Marathon (2011), which was broken earlier this summer.
